Many thanks to my cohorts in CMS. I’m not sure I would have survived my first year without their advise and guidance. Special thanks to Lisa R. for all her help with book ordering this winter. What a great group of people to work with!

Kudos
An outside patron needing to make photocopies was in the library having difficulty. Shriomi spent about 5 minutes helping him out and explaining the differences between the copiers on first level. He was very appreciative of the quality help he recieved from someone knowledgeable and patient; someone who is in place to provide the necessary answer right away.

I have been here at St Thomas for about 7 years and have used CLICnet on occasion. I went to your open house today to see what I could learn. I was surprised to see it was located in the small room to the left as you walk in. I though that we might be shown the different areas of the library and what they had to offer.
What I found was a great deal of information on the different areas of the library. I was with a coworker and we stopped at each of the tables and I learned some very interesting things that I did not know before from each person I talked to. And we stopped at each table. Every person graciously offered information about their area and an invitation to stop in and ask for help if we needed it. They were more than willing to answer all questions – and explain more when I didn’t understand.
So this library that I consider a valuable tool for our students can also be a valuable tool for me; both in person and on line. Thank you for having this open house. It was fun and informative.
Many thanks to Susan for coming up with the idea for the staff open house and her extra work in organizing this event. I hear it went well at OSF and we all at Keffer believe ours was a great success as well. Thanks again!
It’s so nice of him to bring treats in for us!
My thanks to the group which did most of the planning for today’s retreat. I’ve heard good things so far. The Assessment committee consists of Jan Orf, Andrea Koeppe, Conie Borchardt, Janice Kragness, Linda Hulbert, Mary Lou Schmidt and myself. I’d like to thank Julie for her work in making the arrangements at the Center for the Open Book which is a great place for us to meet. Thanks to all who came and participated. Please send us your comments so that we can continue to work on retreats and gatherings that make sense and are useful to you all. Dan
Thanks to Julie Kimlinger, the person behind so many library events. Smoothly, uncomplainingly, competently, she works to make our library functions a success.
I appreciate the ability and willingness of this group to run with the ball for this event! Good work, Susan, Andrea, Jo Ann, Earl and all those presenting at the event on January 28! Diane
