It is a joy when I witness the recognition of those who work hard towards a common goal. In my position, I see this daily with our veteran and military students. They truly are worthy of our praise and our thanks. I am also pleased to see this with my co-workers and this university.

Recently the University of St Thomas received recognition as a Military Friendly school on the Gold level. This is our first time to receive this high of an honor in this particular arena. This is a significant award and, more importantly, a deserved acknowledgment as to the hard work and dedication of those who work at the school towards supporting military and veteran students and their families.

The school is intentional in its support and I work with a team of individuals who truly want to and succeed in serving this population. Congratulations to them and to you for your support.
