
Emmy Schulz, a junior with majors in Strategic Communication: Advertising and Public Relations and Digital Media Arts and a minor in Theology, recently received the Minnesota PRSA President’s Award from the Minnesota chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Schulz’s award was given for a strategic public relations plan written for the Dr. Willard Thompson Scholarship. Schulz’s winning plan featured a scenario response for a fictional brand facing backlash due to a logo change. This summer, Schulz will serve as a public relations intern at Minneapolis-based agency Curious Plot.
