In early May, our department gathered to celebrate our graduating seniors and mark the close of one chapter and the beginning of another. With faculty, classmates, and friends together in the same room, the event offered a chance to recognize not only what these students have accomplished, but also the spirit they have brought to their work: thoughtful creativity, a willingness to ask good questions, care for the people and communities their media reaches, and a steady push to do their best.

As these graduates step into what comes next, our alumni ranks continue to grow in ways that make the department stronger. Each graduating class carries our work into new places, new industries, and new communities, while also becoming part of the larger network of people who help define what it means to study, create, and lead through emerging media at St. Thomas.
