Kwesi Nduom Recap

On February 7, 2008, many of you had an opportunity to see Kwesi Nduom, presidential candidate in Ghana, speak about the relationship between Ghana and the U.S. Congratulations to Kate Herzog, UST MBA Class of 2009, for organizing this wonderful event! Marshal Who?

Are you getting all of your e-mails? Are you getting e-mail you don’t want?
The MailMarshal screens all of our e-mails and blocks anything that it thinks is spam, but it’s not perfect. Especially during the job search season, IRT recommends that you review your blocked e-mail periodically to ensure delivery of all your important e-mail.
From the UST homepage, click on “Tools” and then click on “MailMarshal.” From this page, you may review e-mail that has been blocked over the past two weeks, or manage your safe and block lists. The safe list ensures that all e-mails from a specific e-mail address or e-mail server will be allowed into your Inbox, even if the program thinks it may be spam. Likewise, the block list ensures that all e-mails from a specific e-mail address or e-mail server will be blocked as spam, even if the program thinks it is a legitimate message.
I had 5,000 blocked e-mails over two weeks in my account. Most of them were spam; however, there were several legitimate e-mails blocked by accident. Please log in to MailMarshal to best manage your e-mail account.

Admissions Updates

March Admissions Update

The Full-time UST MBA Admissions office is busily reviewing the record number of applicants from the February 15th deadline. As these applicants receive admissions notification, many will have final questions which will help them decide if the Full-time UST MBA is the best fit for them. We will be asking our Student Ambassadors to help answer these questions and represent our program by connecting with our accepted students shortly after they receive admissions notification.
As you may have noticed, recently the admissions office has had several prospective MBA candidates visiting campus and MBA classes. We ask your help in making these visitors feel welcome and may be calling on Ambassadors to show students to classes and/or enjoy lunch with them while discussing the program. Statistics show that our MBA candidates are more like to chose UST if they have the opportunity to visit campus, so thanks for your continued support!
In addition, the Full-time UST MBA staff would like to congratulate the new Student Association Officers. We were impressed by the ideas and vision the candidates shared and look forward to partnering with you to help you achieve your goals.
Thanks to all who helped with our last round of admissions interviews and our recent visit days.
Enjoy your spring break!
