The Spirit of Sharing

Our Opus College of Business program ranks No. 117 among 388 programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – an increase from No. 185 last year, the first year of eligibility because of accreditation. “The breadth of our concentration offerings and the emphasis we place on Business Ethics and Business 200 courses as requirements for every business major are reasons why our program is so strong.” said Dr. Christopher Puto, dean.

As more and more of our Undergraduate Business students complete Business 200, the more awareness is raised in the community about the importance of doing community service and also why it is important to have a strong business-community partnership.

By contributing an average of +40,000 hours of service each year, Business 200 students are making a difference.

For all students who have completed Business 200 and for those who plan on completing this course I leave these Maasai tribal inspired sayings:

I believe in the spirit of sharing and I believe we are what we are because of those around us.
I am what I am because of other people and they are what they are because of me being around.
One hand cannot clap on its own but it needs the other hand to make a clap.

Many hands make light work.
