Minnesota Private College Job and Internship Fair, Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors are you interested in obtaining an Internship or full-time position? If so, REGISTER NOW to attend the annual Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair to be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  Plan to meet a wide variety of employers offering opportunities to students of many different majors.  Over 150 organizations from business, non-profit, social service, government and the biosciences will be participating.  See www.mnpcfair.org for list of employers.

To be eligible to register, you MUST attend an orientation session (if you have not previously attended the fair). Visit www.stthomas.edu/careerdevelopment/events to sign-up for an orientation session.  If you have previously attended the Fair stop by the Career Development Center for registration materials.

To register for the fair a paper form and fee are DUE prior to 4:00 on Wednesday, December 19th at the Career Development Center, 123 MHC. 651.962.6761  .  The deadline for students on study abroad will be extended and the additional fee will be waived to permit them to register when they return to campus.

Participants receive four weeks of career coaching to get them started on the path to a …successful search.

Topics covered include: developing a plan, resumes, interviewing, networking and creating a LinkedIn profile.

The group meets weekly from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 6 through June 27, in Room 355 of Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

MN PRIVATE COLLEGES JOB & INTERNSHIP FAIR FEB. 21st

All sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in obtaining an internship or full-time position are invited to attend the annual Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

A variety of employers will be at the fair to offer opportunities to students of many different majors. To be eligible to attend, students who previously have not attended the fair must attend an information session. Visit the Career Development Center website to register for a session.

Wednesday, December 21st is the last day to register for the fair.

You must meet with your faculty advisor to have your advising hold removed, and many faculty advisors require that you meet with your business program advisor first (Joanie, Betsy, Heather, or Jesse).
