Attention all undergraduate students…
CHALLENGE DAY 2010
How do you live the UST mantra to “Challenge yourself, change our world?”
Learn how at this free, campus-wide event – you won’t want to miss it!
Registrations accepted through Friday, 2/26/10:
- Monday, March 15th at 6:30pm we’ll be hosting Dr. James Loewen to speak in OEC. He’ll be talking about how we are taught history. He’ll be discussing who’s perspective is left out, what events are left out etc… Should be really interesting!
After the lecture, join us for a community activity! The activity will be lots of fun and we’ll be providing refreshments! This event will go until 9pm.
- Tuesday, March 16th, students will meet with faculty during convo hour to discuss the previous nights activity and lecture and how we can bring what students learned from these two events to our life here at St. Thomas. Lunch will be provided for this!
Pick up registration forms in the MSS Office in MHC (next to Campus Ministry and across from Campus Life) or view it on online at http://www.stthomas.edu/multiculturalservices/ .
The registration is free and the deadline is Friday, February 26th!
If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask! I hope you decide to join us for the “challenge”!
