FAQ on Accounting Courses and New Curriculum

Friday, November 21st, 2008

If you have taken or will be taking BUSN 201 in the spring of 2009, you are officially in the 2006-2008 catalog. That means that UNLESS YOU’RE AN ACCOUNTING STUDENT, you only need to take one accounting course, either ACCT 205 (which is no longer offered) or ACCT 210 – Financial Accounting. Students in the 2008-2010 curriculum (and accounting majors in the old curriculum, unless they’ve completed ACCT 205) will take both ACCT 210 and ACCT 215 no matter what business major they choose. Questions? Ask your business program advisor by emailing him/her or calling our office at 651-962-5544.
