Wow. I can’t believe the first semester of college is already over. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun! They say that college is some of the best years of your life and if the next seven semesters are anything like the first, there is no doubt they will be. Before we go into the happy land of remembering the good times, I’ll give you the lowdown on finals week.
Merry almost Christmas!! Classes wrapped up this week so now all I have left to do is study study study for finals! I thought I had a busy Saturday planned with caroling for Liturgical Choir and a SPO dance, but, as you may have heard, we got a little dusting of snow here in St. Paul. And by little dusting, I mean blizzard conditions and about a foot of snow, if not more. It was so great! Great for us college kids, at least, that didn’t have to go out in it. Not so great for the metrodome and those who have to shovel and move their cars all around. But then we did go out in it to go to the caf for dinner, and I sort of fell into a snowbank, so I got a little payback for being a bum and sitting inside all day long.
Anyone ever heard of Operation Christmas Child?
I hadn’t, until I was listening to the radio online earlier this week and heard the song “Give This Christmas Away” by Matthew West featuring Amy Grant. I loved the song so I YouTubed it and watched the first video that came up. But this wasn’t just any old music video.
