Triplet Reunion and Thanksgiving
I can’t believe I’m almost done with my first semester of college! From after Thanksgiving until December 17 I’m expecting things to be pretty crazy as finals get going, but for now I’m still enjoying Thanksgiving break. I registered for classes this week and got all the ones I wanted, which I wasn’t expecting, so that was a bonus! I’ll be taking Finite Mathematics during J-term, which is three hours of class four days a week-no school on Monday for me which will rock. In the spring I’ll be taking Catholic Studies 101, History, Political Science and a Communications/Journalism class, as well as Liturgical Choir for another semester (yay!!!). I love how every new semester of college is like a new adventure!
My schedule will be a little different next semester, but that’s one of the greatest parts about college-you can pretty much make your own! I’ll have three classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, two right away in the morning and one at 1:35 in the afternoon, which means I only have one class on Tuesday/Thursday, plus choir. I basically just moved my 8 A.M. Tues/Thurs class to MWF afternoons because I prefer having class more often for shorter times. If any of you guys have questions about college classes, go right ahead and email me and I’ll try to fill you in.

Triplet Reunion! That's my brother Michael and sister Lauren.
On to break! Thanksgiving break was so nice, I got to see most of my family and my brother, who I hadn’t seen since the middle of August. It was a pretty busy break but one full of family and friends, as every good break should be. Thursday and Friday we were around Iowa seeing our aunts, uncles, Grandma, Grandpa, and our cousins, and Friday night we stayed at my aunt’s house with our cousins which is always a blast. Then on Saturday night we had a high school reunion at our house! It was so good to see all of our old buddies and to catch up with them to see how their freshman year is going.

We had a ping pong tournament with us three and Mom and Dad...Michael won. But it was a good effort by all. And I 'let' Mom win a game.

My cousin Brittany and I after her basketball game-she is such a balla star!!

Family picure...Take 1

Take 2...my mom wanted us to wait for my brother. As you can tell by the giant "STOP" signal.

Take 3...Karen was really the only was ready.

Take 4...that's as good as it's going to get! Gotta love family.
There was a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and I hope you and yours had a wonderful break as well. This week will be filled with even more reunions (another great part about college is that when you come back, you get lots of hugs because it feels like you’ve been gone forever!) as well as some serious memorization for the Christmas Concert this Sunday! It’s going to be on tv this year if you want to watch, there’s more information about channels here. Happy Advent everyone!
