Who wants to go on an adventure?
We did, which is why we came up to St. Paul the day before orientation to explore Grand Avenue and life off campus, and discovered there will be more than enough to keep us busy.
I never thought July 12th would come.
All throughout June and the beginning of July, I waited, looking longingly at my kitty calendar, wishing the days would just speed up already. Finally that day arrived, and I’m so happy to report that orientation was one of the best days of my life!
If you ask two local Minnesotans where to go to get the best ice cream, they’ll tell you to go to Izzy’s.
At least that’s what happened to us as we explored Grand Avenue. Tales of Izzy’s amazing ice cream and homemade waffle cones danced in our heads and at the end of the day when we went to see for ourselves, we were not disappointed.
