USG “Excellence Expect it Experience it”
Since I got back from California it has been a crazy race to get to finals week and then summer. I have had tests, papers, projects and presentations. It has been crazy. Did I mention during all this activity and academic stress I was elected USG President. I am so very honored and blessed to be the Student body president in my senior year here at St. Thomas. I am really looking to making a difference in my senior year.

Campaign Chalk at the Arches!
It was hard to make time to be able to campaign and keep up with everything but it was time well spent. I got the opportunity to meet a lot of really cool people. I don’t have a lot of opportunities to connect with some of the new underclassmen campaining was a great way for me to meet some of them. It was weird I went knocking door to door in the residence halls and a few of the students I talked to along the way I had actually given them a tour of St. Thomas the year before. It was so good to know that they liked my tour and I could help them make their college choice. I am so excited to get started as USG President
This week the St. Thomas Board of Trustee’s were in town for their meetings. I had the opportunity to go to the meeting and introduce myself to a few of the Trustees. It was a great opportunity and I look forward to getting more involved and representing the Undergraduate students, and telling the trustees all the great things St.Thomas students are doing. I am also excited to work will all the newly elected USG senators and representatives. I am fortunate enough to have a great mixture of returning USG veterans and a lot of new talent as well. I have high expectations for what we are going to get done this year.
