COATS AND COOKIES
Tonight USG Sophomore and Freshman Class put on an amazing event! When you take 1500 sugar cookies, 35lbs of frosting, Elf and a little snow you have a dynamite event. We had tons of people show up in Murray Herrick Student center and bring coats and other lightly used winter clothes to donate to Sharing and Caring hands in MPLS. It was great fun. It was snowing outside, Elf was playing in the background and many of the students had just partaken in a fabulous Christmas dinner in the Cafeteria. We will be donating two cars full of coats and a ton of decorated Christmas cookies to the homeless shelter. It was a great way to spread Christmas cheer to those in need while having some fun taking a break from studying. Special thanks to Freshman and Sophomore class councils as well as the Campus life staff for their support!!!
It was a great fun event but now all I want to do is go home and have it be CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!! 3 Finals and 3 days of class left and HELLO CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!! Good Luck to everyone with finals. Stay warm these next couple of days.
