Helloooo readers! Well, this is it! My very first post as a Tommie Blogger! I am so happy to have this opportunity to share my experiences and love for St. Thomas with all of you. Before I start blogging about UST, I thought I’d write this post as a way for you to get to know a little bit more about me!

My name is Elizabeth Harris and I am currently a Sophomore at St. Thomas. I am originally from Edina, MN which is a suburb out of the Twin Cities, so I’m not far from home at all! I am a Psychology major and plan on attending graduate school to get a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in hopes of running my own private practice someday! My favorite color is green, I’m obsessed with Lady Gaga and Audrey Hepburn, and chocolate is my addiction.

I’m involved in lots of different activities at UST, including Chamber Singers, Tommie Ambassadors, and starting this year, Psychology Club! I have to say, choir is my absolute favorite part about St. Thomas. The community I’ve found through choir is unbelievable and the highlight of my week is being able to make beautiful music with beautiful people. One thing I’m thoroughly looking forward to this year is traveling to IRELAND with the Chamber Singers and Concert Choir next May!!! It’s going to be AMAZING!

Some of the highlights of my first month back at school have been:

-Maroon 5/Train/Matt Nathanson concert at the State Fair!!!

-Moving into Flynn Residence Hall with my WONDERFUL roommate Maria

-Going to the first football game of the fall!

-Seeing Colbie Caillat perform live at First Avenue! (I am actually currently writing this post about an hour after I got back from the concert! It was amazing!)

I can’t wait to see what the rest of this year holds for me and I’m so excited to let you in on what it’s really like to be a Tommie! Well, that’s all for now…I’ll be back to post more soon!

PS Wish the Tommies good luck this Saturday at our biggest football game of the year-TOMMIE JOHNNIE!
