MIDTERMS GALORE! Sounds glorious, right?
Nope. Definitely NOT the case.
Fall is in full swing- the weather has taken a turn for the worst, it’s freezing outside, everyone is getting sick and is slightly crabby due to a lack of sleep because of midterms. It’s definitely rough this semester for me, a lot of studying needs to happen in the next week. On deck, I have an Ethics, Christian Morality AND Spanish test, along with the daunting task of getting started on a 15 page research paper. Needless to say, I’ve definitely been consuming my portion of pumpkin lattes (about the only good thing about Fall, in my opinion. That, and crunchy leaves). It’s also difficult to manage to stay healthy during this part of the year, especially with the weather changing so drastically. So, I’ve been trying to eat better (even though eating Davannis every night is extremely tempting..), drinking lots of water and washing my hands a ton. Getting eight hours of sleep might be out of the question until the weekend comes around, but Fall break will be completely worth it, guaranteed. :)
I’m currently writing this in the middle of a sleep-deprived state. Last night was the first night since my freshman year that I’ve stayed up till 3am doing homework, despite having an 8am class this morning.. BUT I’M STILL GOING STRONG, after about 3 cups of coffee.
But other than the 3am flurry of writing papers and completing Spanish homework, yesterday was pretty exciting! It was National College Radio day! KUST Radio, along with 300+ high school and college radio stations around the country spent the day promoting our radio stations. To celebrate, we set up shop on the upper quad, played some tunes and gave out some awesome $wag and free cds.

We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day…

Emily and I reppin’ our crew

Even Tommie stopped by to check our our selection!
All in all, a very successful day. And BEAUTIFUL out too, may I add once again. I can’t believe how our weather has been, I’m definitely soaking it all in because before we know it, we’ll be waist deep in snow once again… *sigh*
Things are finally getting relatively back to normal on campus since last Saturdays BLOWOUT! St. Thomas and St. Johns met once again, and the rivalry was present as ever. Saturday was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day, making the football game even more enjoyable.

Before the game, I wore the Coffee Bene mug – Here’s me with Tommie (Mascots unite!)

Stands full of students! The stadium was packed to the brim with both Tommie and Johnnie fans

Here’s some “game action” – St. Thomas played SO well, it was exciting!
Nonetheless, it was a great day. We won, 63-7, the biggest game margin in our history of playing one another. My fingers are crossed for next Saturday’s game, we play Auggies – can’t wait! Go Tommies!!!
