The Shenehon Center for Real Estate at the University of St Thomas has created the Advanced Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Investment. This program is designed for real estate professionals who want to upgrade their skills, for people who are considering commercial real estate as a career, and for people who want to know more about investing in income producing real estate. The program will begin September on Tuesday September 14th and meet weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 at the UST Minneapolis campus. The program consists of 6 five week segments as follows:
Legal Aspects of Real Estate & Governmental Controls

Valuation
Oct 19 – Nov 16
Urban Land Economics and Market Analysis
Nov 23 – Dec 21
Commercial Real Estate Finance
Jan 18 – Feb 15
Investment and Income Analysis
Feb 22 – Mar 29
Asset Management
Apr 5 – May 3
All six segments must be completed to receive the certificate. The program can be completed in one year.
