Remote Desk Top connection from Mac to PC

Published on: Tuesday, July 16th, 2013

If you are a MAC user and want to use RDC (Remote Desktop Connection), chances are that you will not be able to connect. I have tried many ways to troubleshoot, but just could not get it to work. Alas, no more. A free program can solve all the headaches and it works beautiful. The program is called CoRD. Click here to use it if you are a MAC user and want to use RDC.

Update for Microsoft RDC on Mac: The computer name is , the UST asset number, for instance, A000xxxxx. When using the Microsoft RDC, after the connect to computer screen, the username has to be ust\xxxxx where the xxxx is the userid. UST\ is needed for domain name.
