We are excited to start sharing happenings from the admissions office through our blog! Our hope is that we can inform the UST community on admissions activities as well as introduce prospective students to a few of our current students and life at UST Law.
This year has been an exciting year in the admissions office! We have had a record number of applications for the incoming class. Everyone is going to enjoy getting to know the Class of 2013 – they all have great stories to tell and are already excited to contribute to the fantastic UST community!
The admissions blog will also have four current UST Law students blogging over the summer. One of our student bloggers is in Rome with our Study Abroad program (Kristin) and the other three will be blogging from Minneapolis while taking summer classes and/or working (Ruth, J.R. and Andrew.)
On the recruiting front, we are currently working to get our video chat appointments up and running, so we will be able to chat online with prospective students who are not able to visit our beautiful campus. I will also be blogging from the road this year while attending recruiting events around the country. My first event for the 2010-2011 recruiting season is next weekend in Washington, DC for a Law School Admissions Council Law School Forum. We will continue to update the blog at least twice a month, so please check back often.
