Dear Opus College of Business Alumnus or Student,
Congratulations on completing or nearing completion of your graduate business degree! You have indicated you plan to participate in the 2013 Graduate Business Commencement Ceremony, to be held on Saturday, May 25. (Please reply to this email ASAP if you do not plan to attend the commencement ceremony.) While complete commencement ceremony information, including directions, parking and other details, are available on the Opus College of Business Commencement website, this email includes the most critical instructions for you as a participant.
Graduate Business Commencement Ceremony Schedule: Saturday, May 25
6-6:30 p.m.
7 p.m.
Commencement exercises begin with an academic procession into the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Center field house. A program will be waiting for you in your chair. Our commencement speaker this year is Randall J. Hogan, chairman and CEO of Pentair. The ceremony should last 75-90 minutes.
Post-ceremony
A reception immediately follows the ceremony in the Anderson Student Center. Graduates, guests, faculty, staff and administrators are all invited.
Diploma
You will receive your diploma when all course requirements for the degree are completed and your student account is paid in full. Your diploma will be mailed to you approximately eight to 10 weeks after all degree requirements are verified as completed. Be sure your current mailing address on file with St. Thomas is correct in Murphy online, or contact us at (651) 962-4200 to update your contact information.

Starting Monday May 20 Students Enrolled in the Following Programs are Eligible to Purchase a Summer Parking Permit for the Minneapolis Campus
Beginning Monday, May 20, students enrolled in the following full-time academic programs will the opportunity to purchase a summer parking permit for the Minneapolis campus. Students enrolled in the School of Law and the Full-time Day MBA program who are taking summer courses, studying on campus for the summer, or working full-time on campus for the summer will be eligible to enroll for a summer parking permit. The cost of the permit is $150, will be sold to the first 60 students to enroll, and is valid from June 1 – August 16.
Students who are looking to enroll for a summer parking permit must register through Murphy Online (https://banner.stthomas.edu/pls/banner/prod/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin). Completed registrations must be printed and brought to Parking Services on the Minneapolis campus located in the School of Law room 252.
Permits will be available for purchase from 8;00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. M-F.
Bob Barnett from MDA Leadership will be the featured keynote speaker for this event. Mr. Barnett will speak to the following topics: traits of leaders, skills of leaders, transition to leading and how people develop.
