Career Scoop Update, General Information

How the Career Development Center Can Help You This Year #USTCareerScoop

As you transition into your new routine with classes, work, and life we want to remind you of the variety of resources and services available to assist you in your career planning or internship/job search throughout the year. The services we provide are FREE, with the exception of personality and interest assessment fees for those students interested in pursuing that option.

Career Counselors are available for individual appointments or daily Pop-In sessions (10 minute, unscheduled sessions for quick questions) to assist with:

    • exploring majors and careers
    • applying for on-campus student jobs
    • internship or job search questions
    • resume and cover letter writing
    • interviewing tips
    • creating/updating your LinkedIn profile

Check out our website for information on the above topics, including seminars and job/internship postings (almost 1300 listed today!).

On-Campus Interviewing begins soon for full-time positions and internships, including some offered for spring/summer 2018. Attend one of the Orientation to On-Campus Interviewing seminars to sign-up for interviews with employers who will be visiting campus from September through November. Many employers are also sponsoring Work-It-Wednesday information tables in ASC this fall for students to get more details about their organization and positions offered.

We look forward to assisting you with your career development! Call 651-962-6761 or stop by 123 Murray-Herrick to schedule an appointment.
